One third???

I think I needed to make it a bit clearer, because yeah I meant it cuts the casting time by one third, rather than in half, which is what you would expect as the casting speed is increased by 50% at level 5, and is also what I found from testing. --Onteron (talk) 20:50, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Really? I use it all the time and I could swear everything is cut in perfect 50%. I throw Sultar's Terror really fast. I tried it with the skill off and it cleary takes double the time. Wich... is not really a good idea with ST... Torg Snowflake 00:42, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
I'll try to get some videos recorded so we can see exactly the difference it makes. Also, I'll keep an eye on the status of the bug after this update; I'm not convinced it's related to the goblin spell bug, but if I don't experience it in during the next week or so I'll take it out. --Onteron (talk) 15:11, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

Ok I finally got round to recording some videos, using Terror. I think something changed in the animations update because I remember before the casting progress bar would still take the normal time, even though the actual casting time was less. Now the progress bar works correctly. Ok so in short, yeah it does cut the casting time in half on lvl 5, though I still don't quite understand it on the other levels. If the spell does indeed work as "casting time: -X%" then you'd expect these values:

L1: 2.7s, L2: 2.4s, L3: 2.1s, L4: 1.8s, L5: 1.5s

These were the actual values I got:

L1 2.48s, L2: 2.24s, L3: 2.00s, L4: 1.68s, L5: 1.48s

Even allowing for framerate issues, it's still a little off. --Onteron (talk) 14:55, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

"Time between spells is no longer affected by weapon attack speed." Thats interesting, where is that information from? Any source you can give?
