
Barbarians are one of Regnum Online's offensive subclasses, focusing on hard hitting melee combat. Warriors who choose the path of the barbarian gain access to two-handed weaponry, and two unique disciplines, Two Handed Mastery and Warcries. They are the strongest pure damage dealing class in the game, capable of brutal normal hits, which can make them deadly in close quarters. Along with good damage, barbarians can also be one of the fastest classes in the game.
Barbarians also have a wide number of debuffs, crowd control skills, and can provide supportive shouts for allies. The price to pay for all this is their armor, which at lower levels provides weaker defense when compared to other classes. This makes barbarians as equally vulnerable as the ranged targets they choose to engage. To summarize, barbarians are for those who prefer quick, fast paced combat; kill or get killed.
Barbarians are the only class that have the ability to dual wield weapons. They may choose between equipping a two-handed weapon, or wielding a one-handed main weapon and an offhand weapon. In the dual wielding case, the main weapon determines the skills the Barbarian may use. Thus if wielding a one-handed main axe, and a hammer offhand, the Barbarian may only use the Slashing Discipline tree. Offhands are sold at the Barbarian weapons merchant in the capital cities, as well at the central save merchants in the War Zone.

- Warcries: effects a barbarian's damage and other abilities such as speed. Some skills also aid allies and de-buff enemies.
- Two Handed Mastery: skills/attacks to be used with two-handed weapons.
